Becca Macdonald

Conceptual jeweller painting with silver.

Becca Macdonald produces conceptual jewellery designs influenced by material experimentation.

“I am influenced by the properties of materials and what they are capable of. My designs explore the idea of capturing the ‘evidence of presence’ and freezing the ephemeral – fleeting moments of movement and human gesture. All of my brushstrokes are individually hand-painted, so naturally no two pieces are ever the same. My textured ‘Gestures’ collection captures one-off moments of movement that are impossible to repeat, and my fingerprint jewellery is as naturally unique and individual as the hands that create each piece.
